My makers mark represents my name in traditional Chinese characters. It is not only used on my work to sign each piece but also to date it.

Twelve seals in total will be used, each to represent one year of the Chinese lunar zodiac calendar. Once a full twelve-year cycle has been completed, the cycle will begin again marking a new dynasty for my work.

Each seal has been hand carved by a different artisan from China and the date of my work will be identifiable by each artisan’s unique stamp shape and artistically carved characters.
